We buttered the cat!

Strange day today. Only because of one thing, but strange nonetheless.
We had to butter Mollie - my cat.
I was holding her earlier and then Matt fudged her head, and I noticed there was a white blob on her neck next to her collar.
My mom then looked at it and was like "Urgh, I think it's a tick! Don't pull it off, we'll have to take her to the vets.."
So my mom phoned the vet and asked if ticks were very serious or not? If they needed to be removed immediately and what we can do to it.
You see; the vet we use is only open until 10am and then it's open for emergencies only between 5pm and 6pm.
The woman on the phone said that you shouldn't pull it off because obv. it's buried it's head under her skin so it's fat ass is sticking out. If you pull it, the body might detach from the head and cause infection. It would also hurt Mollie to pull at it.
The woman also said that we should smother the tick in butter to suffocate it, and eventually it will drop off. And that's what we've done.
She's been buttered (^_^). Lol. It's funny.
I was watching Scary Movie 3 again earlier. I gotta admit, it's nowhere near as funny as the second one. the first Scary Movie was actually kinda scary, when it goes through the Drew Barrymore 'Scream' scene. The second one is hilarious (and it's what i like to quote from alot), and the third is just mildly funny.
Maybe it's because I haven't seen Signs, which it refers to a LOT. Ah well. Nevermind eh?
I managed to complete a lot of work and handed it all in yesterday. Now all I gotta do is my main Receiving and Assisting assignment, i'm improving on my Problems and Complaints assignment, and I have classroom assignments to do now. Then I'm all done.
It still seems like a lot, but it's getting less as the days go by. Thank fuck.
